I came across an obit in today's Philadelphia Inquirer for W.F. 'Billy'
Krechmer, a jazz clarinetist who was famous in Philly during the big
band era. I don't know how well-known he was outside the area, but I
thought I'd post a link to the obit in case anyone was interested in
reading it.
