I have a Patricola Rosewood Eb and love it. I would
recommend it to anyone, especially because of the
price. It does NOT come with a mouthpiece, because Eb
mouthpieces are even more temperamental (IMHO) than
Bb/A mouthpieces. I am using a Clark Fobes Eb
mouthpiece on mine, and love it!

You can get a Patricola Eb for under $2000 still (I
believe) but my suggestion would be going with the
Grenadilla wood instead of Rosewood, as the Rosewood
changes so readily with temperature and moisture
changes. The Rosewood has a different sound and feel,
which I like, but the instrument, because of the wood,
is more high maintenance than if I had gotten the
Grenadilla wood from Patricola.
