Helen, can you be a little more specific in terms of what you mean by
"the best." There are a few who would argue that much of what passes
for Buffet superiority is more legend than fact. I do not suggest that
the Buffet is anything but an excellent instrument, but when you are
dealing with subjective issues of clarinet playing, the word "best"
needs a lot more explanation that the experience of one person and the
lack of problems over three years. There are many other brands that
also would present you with no problems over the same period.

So give it a try: what's "best" about the Buffet?
