Ashley,

Buffet R-13s are great instruments, I used to play on them and after
Brannen worked on them they were fantastic. However I'm a converted
Leblanc fan now and am loving the Concertos and most recently an
Opus A that I have been playing. It used to be that the only high end
quality clarinets were Buffet, IMHO. But now we have several choices
and that is wonderful. Quite a few makers have excellent instruments
depending what your looking for and how the instrument feels in
your hands. Try as many as you can and best of luck on your quest!

Yeah, I totally agree. The Buffet is definately the best. I've had mine for
the past three years and it hasn't given be any trouble yet.
