There is a person (in Newbern, VA) selling cheaply-framed old-magazine ads
(of vintage clarinets and who knows what else) on ebay. One oversize ad
(bigger than the other two) came from a NAMM publication, Chicago, in 1958
(maybe this is National Association of Music Manufacturers?). The other
two are the size of most present-day magazines, but can't be sure from
which ones.

The clarinet ads, at least, were listed in the clarinet category.
(Searching on a manufacturer/model name within the clarinet category will
turn them up.) He/she goes by the ebay ID of VINTAGEADVERTISINGINK. (One
can also look for all auctions by a particular seller.) The ads tend to
have a buy-it-now price of $9.99, with shipping of $6.00, though multiple
items purchased will be shipped for a lower combined shipping fee. I
recently bought three. The person signs his/her e-mails as VAI (don't know
if this is initials or a name). The e-mail address is:

I'd say he/she must be doing all right with this ebay business. There was
a mixup in shipping me my items so that I received somebody else's and had
to send it back (for which the seller has still not reimbursed me). In an
e-mail about the mixup, VAI said he/she had something like 600 auctions
ending over the previous weekend and had to hire somebody new to pack for
shipment, and that person evidently got his wires crossed. I did receive
the correct ones promptly thereafter.

Maybe you could make a deal for a batch of unframed ones (and then
frame/display to suit)?
