I certainly never said that the measure's inclusion ruins the piece,
though I can give hard evidence that including it has a technical flaw.
It is very difficult to ruin that piece. Besides how could anyone
suggest that including that measure ruins the piece since it was played
that way for 200 years (though every such performance was made incorrect
by its inclusion)? It works even though it is technically incorrect.

What I did say was that including that measure is incorrect, not
ruinous. And that is no opinion. It is light years away from an
opinion. Hard, thoughtful, brutally clear evidence found in the
manuscript in the composer's own hand supports the assertion that
including the measure is technically incorrect, in addition to being in
conflict with Mozart's intentions. There is zero opinion in that
statement. It is as objective as the Pythagorean theorem! Do you
really think I put anything into that edition on a subjective basis?

Words into my mouth, you may not put (which is roughly on a level of
someone once saying, "To whom in hell do you think you are talking?"
