E flat, 2 Bflats Bass:
Ask any French or Belgian player.
That is the standard format for them:-

Farkas Hungarian Dances, etc. EMB
Absil Quatuor, Lemoine
Lucy Vellere Quatuor, Maurer (Bruxelles)
Willem Pelemans Quatuor, Maurer
Peter Cabus Quatuor, Maurer
Willy Mortier Niagara (Jazz Suite) Maurer
Bo Linde (Sweden 1933-70) Quatuor en miniature Op 31 (1965) Swedish MIC
It was written for Marcel Hanssens and the Belgisch Klarinettenkwartet
(playing Selmer clarinets)
It uses 2 A clarinets instead of B flat and it's a really 'exotic' work.

I 've an address for Schott Frere at
Avenue du Verseau 7 Watermannlaan
1200 Bruxelles
(02) 770 93 39 (obsolete)
but it is old (1983) and they may be part of Schott Freres by now, at:
Rue Saint Jean 30
Bruxelles 1
Belgium
Tel (02) 5123980 Fax 514845
