Hi Sean,
There's a wonderful piece by Astor Piazzolla called
Histoire du Tango for Eb, 2 Bbs, and Bass. The Eb
part is also transposed for Bb, plus the 3rd Bb part
is transposed for basset in F. Now that would be
amazing! The edition I have is by Henry Lemoine and
was adapted by Bruce Edwards. I think it might have
originally been written for saxophones....it's still a
great piece. : )
Best of luck,
Lori Lovato

Subject: [kl] Mixed Quartets
I am performing at the ClarinetFest 2002 in Stockholm with others on the
Selmer night. We would like to play a Trio or Quartet for mixed clarinets
(Eb, Bb, Bb, Bass - or even the dreaded Basset Horn too), but I'm afraid
that I for one, do not know any good quartets with Eb and Bass. Do any of
you have ones to reccomend?
Thanks,
Sean Osborn
