For everyone who responded, on the list and privately, thank you very much.
I am looking into the ideas suggested. Has any of our history specialists
here heard of or ever considered a project like this? A video series that
might accompany a music history presentation on the level of, let's say,
Grout or Palisca as used in many Universities in the States (Oxford Concise
History? in England?)? If I were to find some kind of "funding" help, would
anyone here know of authorities in the field that might be interesting in
such an endeavor?

And for those who have wondered or suggested, yes, I did look on the
internet and did find some interesting and helpful things BEFORE I wrote to
the list, but I am specifically looking for DVDs for my collection and my
personal presentation.
