Many thanks to Dan Leeson and Tony Pay yet again!

I was aware that 19th and 20th century editors conformed a lot of classical
music to death and I hate them for it. However, I must be infected myself by
my upbringing because in this point of the grace notes, I was yearning for
uniformity. On the one hand, I'm surprised and relieved by Tony's statement.
On the other hand, I still feel, somewhere at the bottom of my dark little
heart that those grace notes should be consistent (as an echo). In any case,
I have food for thought and am going to enjoy the rehearsals and discussions
with my colleages. Thanks once again!

Dan, you asked when and where the Mozart concerto will be:

Sunday 10 March 2002 at the St. Peter Church (im Grütt - in the Park called
Gruett) in Loerrach/Lörrach. I'm not sure of the time. I *think* its at 4
PM? Also on the program: 7th and 8th symphonies by Schubert. I'm afraid it's
only an amature orchestra although pros (mainly from Basle Symph. Orch.)
come to the last rehearsals and the concerts including all the first chair
players.

I believe you are in Munich? It's about five hours from there. The nearest
bigger city is Basle. I don't know if it's worth it just for you to
determine at which date I should be shot at dawn..... but if you did come, I
would see that you get a complimentary ticket.

David
