Thanks Doug, you have come to my rescue, in what has been an evasively
unsuccessful quest up till now, magnificently. I s`pose I could have looked
in catalogues, as someone else advised, but I`m interested in what players
on the list are <doing>, and someone, whom I shall name, possibly due to
other commitments (no criticism) has noticeably not come forward.

I still would wish players such as Tony, and recitalists` also in the U,S.
to kindly let me know if, in their own experiences, modern (full keyed)
basset clarinets are being used more or less frequently, or of about equal
frequency with boxwood 9 keyed replicas. What is the professional clarinet
world of Weber and Mozart moving towards? I cannot think that you would all
want to keep such interesting developments in this matter to yourselves:
it`s not as if you would be divulging your own professional and secret
philosophies to each other, - or is it?
