Hi Jim & all,

I would really recommend not using the new Netscape 6.2. It is entirely
different from the 4.0 versions, & is full of bugs. The msg boards are full of
complaints...even the experts on Tech TV can't get it to work right.
You can still download the 4.0 version from their site--the newest is 4.9. Most
computer experts agree to stick with this version.

I have used Netscape w/no problems since '95, then tried version 6 & it was a
nightmare--lost e-mail, froze up repeatedly, etc. Went back to 4.9, which I am
very happy with.

I do much prefer Netscape over IE & Outlook Express. The mail program seems
easier to use, & the bookmark features in the browser are far superior, which is
very important to me, as I have a zillion bookmarks which require being able to
organize them in a full window where I can see all of the folders & sub folders
at a glance, not the tiny window IE has. Another advantage is that some viruses
only attack Outlook Express.

Hope this helps.

Janine
