Mr. Leeson,

Finally had a chance to read your
review of the Piazzolla, Haydn, Mozart,
and Stravinsky concert. Thanks for sharing
it with the list, only wish I could have
heard the concert. You mentioned that it
would be put to CD soon, is there a
way to keep informed on its progress?

Also have been meaning to thank you
and Walter and several others who encouraged
me on the improv/embellishing of the slow
movement of Beethoven Symphony No. 2. The
concert was Christmas Eve. At the first
rehearsal the entire orchestra (especially
the principal oboist and flutist) were almost
chuckling in amazement at my additions, yet as
the concert grew nearer the piece began
unfolding in a wonderful way and I tried my
best to let the moment dictate what I played.
The concert turned out to be wonderful.
