Let me put my vote in for the ER-15's. I have a set. The mold was made
here at UNT and then sent off. I got them in about 2 weeks. I wouldn't
suggest the 25 decibel attenuators b/c it just cut out too much sound. It
only took me a few rehearsals to "trust" that I sounded okay. For a while I
would put a plug in my left ear (darn 3rd tpt player) and leave the right
ear open just to make sure, but now I'm used to the sound with both plugs
in. The best thing about these plugs is that they don't make everything
sound muffled like regular foam plugs do. They cut out the sound equally
over the range of frequencies.
