Actually, I once had a set, labeled "Buffet", that would fit the middle
joint. They were metal, and ultimately got lost, unfortunately. I have
not been able to replace them, although I have not tried very hard. They
had a large ID, and thus didn't completely fill the gap when you pulled
this joint.
