As a young kid, I used to go to the Paramount theatre in NY to listen to
Benny Goodman play and Peggy Lee sing "Why don't you do right." She was
a magnificent singer with a style that rivaled that of her illustrious
bandleader.

It is with regret that I mention her death today of heart trouble at
around the age of 80.
