Certainly I had momentary fears the over-stuffed mailbox was mine since
I didn't clear mine out, earlier this year, for about 6 weeks and
accumulated something like 1400 messages. How many pieces of email can
accumulate appears to depend on the size of each message and the
restraints of any particular ISP.

From looking at the address on the bounced messages, I assume it's not
my mailbox nor my ISP.

Hopefully the situation will come to a peacful resolution soon, without
anything tragic having happened to a list member since some of us are
capable of having unexpected heart attacks, auto accidents, and other
such things take place which are difficult to anticipate and
unsubsubscribe for. While it's a nuisance in some ways, it'd sure be
nice if the email accumulation problem we're seeing is just an oversight
or an inadvertant user error on the part of a list member.
