Stravinsky - The Soldier's Tale (Vln, Cl, Pno)
Montbrun - Concertstuck

This will be the first of three DMA recitals.

I would love to hear any anecdotes, ideas, input, complaints or anything
dealing with these pieces. >>

The Tartini is the most popular Gr. 4 solo my students like for solo and
ensemble festival, which is next month, btw. We usually do the first 2
mvts. Movement 3 is soooooo similar to mvt. 1. I played the first 2 mvts
on a recital a couple of years ago. LOVE the 2nd mvt!

How cool to play the Stravinsky. I think you are right to do it because the
opportunity came up. This piece is great and not heard enough. Somewhere I
have a recording, but can't remember who's on it.
