Walter,

Some DNS error bullshit kept me from viewing your low D masterpiece. God is
punishing me for my sins! My quietude has been caused busytude. The
recession doggedly avoids our little interprise.

I've been making all sorts of different clarinet reamers for a reamer-crazed
world. I'm thinking of getting a vanity plate for our car: "REAMER MAN" I
figure I can get "physician parking" as a urologist.

finishing up some projects which have been a lot of fun, but VERY absorbing.

(which would have taxed my abilities to the max) but I did get a chance to
build an attachment which allows a low D.

this note corresponds to the lowest note on the cello. Due to some hand
problems, he didn't want the forest of thumb keys that normally accompany a
low C bass.

extension on, a Low D sounds when a low Eb is fingered. A quick switch
allows the same fingering to play the normal low Eb. (Yes, chromatic
passages are not completely possible, we knew that.)

a very SHARP third line B.
