The 2002 West Coast Clarinet Congress begins today (actually there was a
concert last night too, by David Randall), at Calif. State Univ. Fresno.,
and goes through to Sunday. Check out the website at
www.west-coast-clarinet-congress.org. Clarence Padilla, David Etheridge,
Hakan Rosengren, Gary Gray, etc., etc. will be performing, plus
performances, master classes, student competitions, lectures, demos,
discussion groups, and exhibitors.

Rumor is that it will be in Hawaii next year (?!). I'll have to check on
that to confirm, though.
