Hello all,

Just wanted to give you the heads up on an exciting performance I'm taking
part in at the end of this month. On Monday, January 28th, my new group
Quake will be performing for the first time at the Nordstrom Recital Hall
at Benaroya Hall at Third and Union, downtown Seattle. The concert starts
at 8pm, and tickets are $15, or $10 for students and seniors, and are
available through ticketmaster, at the box office, or at the hall right
before the performance.

I'm very excited about this new group, because it's filled with great
people, each bringing their own special qualities to the group. This is not
your ordinary chamber music group, and I promise an enjoyable and memorable
evening for you all. Because it's our first performance, we'll be doing
all firsts: two world premiers (written for us), a west-coast premier, a
northwest premier, a Seattle premier and a Quake premier. The music is
really good, and my colleages play very well.

We got our name because our first real meeting was in February last year.
We were just about to read through the "Quartet for the End of Time" when
the earthquake struck!

You can read more about us and the concert at www.quakemusic.org if you
want to. Feel free to email me any questions as well. Hope to see you all
there.

others ;)
