I finally got around to doing this, and here is what I came up with. When
blowing through a saxamaphone (this is a tenor sax) on a clarinet mouthpiece
(while it didn't fit on perfectly, I was able to make sure it fit on there
to the point to where I could at least get a sound out of the instrument) it
overblows to the octave, like a tenor saxaphone should. Here's the weird
thing: When I put the sax mouthpiece on the clarinet (again, I made it fit
best I could) it seemed to overblow to the tritone an octave higher (which
would be a flat 12th, right?). Anyone else want to experiment with this?
