Dear kl group,

I've noticed that if I try to slur from third space C (fingered with the
right hand),
up to C# (fingered with the left), I sometimes get a momentary glitch where
the
sound completely stops. If a pad was closing a hole, I could understand why
this might be happening, and would look to see if the pad was seated
correctly.
But this glitch is occurring as a hole is being *opened*. (It couldn't be
the player's
fault.) If anyone could clue me in to mechanical problems that might be
occurring,
I would appreciate it.
