Dunno, but I do know what happens if you remove the valves
from a french horn and solder on a trombone slide as a
replacement. You get a "trauma horn" which makes hideous
bhwaaps. I don't recall how it overblows. However, those
who heard it would agree that any amount of blowing was
overblowing.
