Yeah, just one chapter on the 20th century. (This was over 25 years ago. I
assume that Grout, like most text books, had been "revised and enhanced"
many times since then. Just the same, Grout devoted far more space to
composers who, to put it politely, were not any more substantial.

Well, the Grout was never geared toward 20th Century music history anyway.
