Dear Fellow Clarinetists,
Later this month, Jan. 29 to be exact, I will be
auditioning for the Northwestern University school of
music. I was just wondering if any of you could help
me handle my nerves or give me tips to get ready (or
readier than I would be). I have a really big problem
with nerves, I believe am a credible high school
clarinetist, but I'm a senior and this is the first
year that I made All-Region because I was able to
handle my nerves; because of my nerves I didn't make
it any further than the Region level.
Anyways, back to my original question, Anything that
can help me out with my audition is wonderful. Anyone
who has been through this before I would love your
help and advice from your experiences. Thank you in
advance :)
