If humidity is held constant, there should be no problem. But when it gets
very cold, the furnaces run longer, drying the air more. You might want to
do something to stabilize the humidity, such as a humidifier or orange
peels in your case, to prevent these rapid fluctuations, which must be hard
on the instrument.
