Finale Notepad is far too limited to be worth the bother.
It will not permit changing key signatures or time signatures
in the middle of the piece. If you wish to go with a Finale
product that is not too expensive, buy PrintMusic! at $69 (I
think). However, it has the same difficult learning curve
as all the Finale products, including Notepad.

Noteworthy Composer will do it for most people unless they
are composing major symphonic works.
