There must be lots of inexpensive software progs you can go for if you are
looking to <only> transpose your music for Bb and Eb instruments.
The more sophisticated progs like Sibelius are probably not what I would
advise initially. Any good music technology shop will be able to demonstrate
the different progs on sale.

And don`t forget that the piano is NOT a transposing instrument. IT plays
what it sees, and it sounds the same as what it plays. Take the clarinet up
one tone (C to D). Take the alto sax up one sixth (C to A). Take the tenor
sax up an octave and one tone. C(defgabc)D.

There`s not an awful lot of complication in all of this - just make sure you
are understanding what the shop sales technician is explaining.
