Thanks again for the fingerings. I just tried a whole slew of them this
morning and found one that works very well in this spot.

Peter Randell wins the prize for the one chosen fingering of the six he sent.

For those of you who are curious, the piece is a concerto being written for
me by Noel Zahler - composer and professor at Connecticut College. A very
interesting work involving computer interaction and at the leading edge of
artificial intelligence in music. It uses max/msp to follow what I play,
compare it against what I'm supposed to play and send my performance to
independently controlled speakers in the hall according to where the music is
in time. The clarinet part contains graphic icons above the staff to
illustrate which speakers in the hall are on. It monitors pitch, timbre and
time. Noel tells me that I shouldn't have to adjust my performance to
accomodate the computer. Should be interesting.

If you want the .gif file of the section with the fingering in question, I'd
be glad to send it to you personally. (I don't think attachments are allowed
on this list) Just request it on the list and I'll send it out.
