Well I spent 1 hour watching a TV prog. which seemed to know what it was
talking about - - - - - - -? :<)
Or was this just another attempt at viewing ratings, to the detriment of an
honest attempt at trying to find the truth about what really happened? You
may say a bit of both, and I may probably agree with you Bill, but the
research entererd into, in making this account seemed to me to be quite
comprehensive enough, substantially disproportionate to the number of
potential viewers who would be interested in watching this kind of
historical prog.
Yours, and all the previously recognised "fog & ice" supporters tho` have
obviously been knowledgeable enough to <HOLD> onto this theory since the
war, but it still remains a mystery, and we cannot hold back or discount new
evidences based on new discoveries; we must look at this and form, if
necessary new evaluations as and when they surface.
I`ll close by saying that I`ve always been a great admirer of the Miller
Band. There`s nothing I would cherish more if I were granted one final wish
than to stand up in the middle of that sax section with my clarinet.
Magic, and no one can tell me otherwise.
Best,
Tony W.
