Mileage does vary with Lysine. The first time I ever used it while suffer-
ing with canker sores as a teenager, it was a like a miracle: the sores
were gone literally overnight. I did cartwheels. The next time, however,
the sores healed only slightly faster when using Lysine. After that, there
was no discernible improvement at all. I stopped doing cartwheels.
