Natalie, Go for the R13 as diplomatically as possible with your Mom.. Also, try
to convince the music store that it was as least partly their fault and that you
will be purchasing a more expensive clarinet and see if they may waive or reduce
the restocking fee. It's also way out of line with fees I've heard of. Is this
a small local outfit?? If so, you may want to check R13 prices with Muncy,
Woodwind and Brasswind, Fred Weiner.
