Back in my sax major days when I used to practice many hours per day I used
denture cushions which I bought at a drug store. They are waxy & clothlike
and can be cut with a pair of scissors to fit over your bottom teeth. The
same piece lasted a long time. I haven't used them or looked for them for
better than 30 years now so I'm not sure if they are readily available.
Maybe the EZO that Michelle referred to is the same stuff.
