I just want to thank everyone for their advice. Though, none of it really
made much sense to my parents, as my mom said she doesn't understand why I
needed such a good instrument now, and my dad said that I was keeping the
E-12 now matter what because I didn't appreciate the thought of the gift and
didn't deserve the R-13, even though I tried to tell him I DID appreciate
it. And when I offered to take money out of my savings account to pay for
the restocking fee and part of the R-13, my mom said no but wouldn't tell me
why. You'd think they would be glad I was willing to share the finacial
burden. But needless to say, they pretty much made the decision for me, and
the E-12 is sitting behind me as I speak (well, type, that is). But it is a
better quality instrument than the one I've been playing on, so at least
it's not a set back. Gotta look at the bright side, I guess!
