I'm a little concerned about a $200 "restocking fee". Places that charge
that kind of money for a "restocking fee" normally charge retail or above
for the clarinet - if the R13 is selling for much more than $2000 then
perhaps you should consider going somewhere else to buy the instrument, even
mail-order if need be.

(Yes, I know that you can get them R13s than $2000 via mail order, but I
always give my local shops a chance so I add an extra 10% to the price.
Considering that they're just ordering it and don't have the cost of
actually holding on to the merchandise, this is a pretty good markup. I
wonder what they do if the R13 is a lemon - bad intonation or some other
non-obvious problem? Tell you it'll cost $200 to try another? Tell you it's
"normal"? I'm really suspicious of this place.)
