For a couple of months the TSO was operating day to day - the musicians
didn't know if there would be work the following week. As I understand the
situation, they have now found some interim funding, so the season will
continue, but the financial crisis is just averted for a short time, and
major restructuring is still continuing.

There are Toronto subscribers to this list who will know more than I do - I
think that David Bourque had taken some leave this year, and was not playing
in the TSO even when they did play.
