Hi Emily,

I tend to play a lot of trios in transcription, with a flute, clarinet and
bass clarinet (me) trio, and some of the flute parts may have been oboe
parts, or they would work on oboe anyway if you are not fussy about
instrumentation! There is an excellent Devienne trio (roughly contemporary
of Mozart), the Haydn London Trios, and a Shostakovitch that come to mind.

Lesley Shatzberger, a wonderful player and person, taught me too, more years
ago than she would probably like to admit! Give her my love and ask her to
email me!

Hi guys - I'm back (for the festive season anyhow). Having a great time at
york, now being taught by a lovely lady called Lesley Shatzberger. I have a
repetiore poser for you - can anyone recommend good material for my
oboe/clarinet/bassoon trio to tackle? we're having problems finding stuff
that isn't early C20th french cheese. Not that there's anything wrong with
that of course. But some variety would be nice! Any suggestions?
Em.
