Any composer working on a higher degree that says he or she has looked for a
couple of years for new music that has clarinet and hasn't come up with
anything should at least know how to use the music library and librarian.
Online is incredible easy - go to any of the Music Centers and search for
"clarinet". Go to the NYPL online and search for "clarinet". etc. A
librarian could do even better. I have a problem with someone who makes no
real effort to find out information, especially in higher education.

If someone asked me to find compositions that include harpsichord written in
the last 3 decades I'll bet I can find a couple of hundred in less than a
day. No comment on how _good_ they are, but just _finding_ compositions
isn't very hard.
