I received recently Stephen Fox's CD of music for clarinet, violin and piano,
a large portion of which was recorded using his NX clarinet. I have not had
time to study the recording in depth, but my first impression suggests that
this clarinet he has built is a perfectly fine instrument that can be played
in tune with considerable evenness of sound across registers.

I apologize for rushing to judgement on this instrument. I will explain my
reaction to playing it in a seperate post so as not to cloud what I wrote
above.
