Jessica, it is much more serious than Stalinist persecutions. Stalin
had no involvement with any activities in Treblinka. It was a
concentration camp used by the Nazis in World War 2, and, while I have
no control over what name you use for your email address, you would be
well advised to consider changing it. We are speaking of a place in
which several hundred thousand people were murdered, Jews, homosexuals,
Seventh Day Adventists, Catholics, Gypsies, and who knows what others.
And whoever began to call you "Treblinka Marie" did you no favor, to say
nothing of the fact that the history of the place is a world class
horror and in no way due to any Russian activities.

Thinking it was funny, they dubbed me "Treblinka Marie..russian war princess" Im not ignorant though..i am fully aware of the ugly connotations (stalinistic extermination etc.) this name bares. If anyone else is familiar with it though..i just want to let people know i mean no offense..its just what they call me.
