Another endorsement for "computer/music" glasses. You can see the whole of
the music without moving your head (and instrument), and the conductor is
clear enough. It might be different in a large orchestra where the
clarinet is quite far from the conductor, but in bands the clarinets are
usually in the front - indeed, too close! Mine have the astigmatism
corrections of my "walking around" bifocals - more expensive than drug
store glasses, but critical if the astigmatism is at all pronounced. With
my scant sight reading abilities, I need all the help I can get! For vocal
music, the bifocals are just fine.
