What some of us here are using quite effectively are bifocals called
"Executive Cut", which have mostly a reading component (actually about two
thirds are for music reading and about one third is distance for the
conductor). You just need to tell them how far aeay your music stand is (and
bring music with you) and how high you want the line. Hope that helps a bit.
