You might try the public library in NY. The Lincoln
Center branch has an extensive recording collection
there, and would probably be very interested in the
LPs. Their website is:

There is a linked section on "contributions and
membership" and then after that link, there is a link
to the section "donating books" which has a section on
dontaing books and materials, along with phone numbers
for contacting them. Good luck!
