This is the aspect of mailing lists that ruins them for me. If the
discussion were merely about materials vs. sound, then I'd have no
problem with someone losing their temper or using strong language.

But gratuitous and undeserved taunts of this sort turn my stomach, and
so I need to unsubscribe fro the list again.

(by the way, Mike, if I could play well enough to justify a handsome
instrument, then I'd be proud to own one like Dan's)

Before I go, I'd like to answer one other email which _did_ address the
issue of materials vs. sound..... [see next message]
