Ah, there's the rub - the word "general." That's what makes the hypothesis
unsupportable as science. Unless the barrels are PRECISELY identical except
for the material, nothing has been proven. Without that condition, the
assertion has to be considered in the same category as the statement in your
message to the effect that "we all know" that grenadilla is the "best"
material.
