I think you are correct. There was another principal there for some
years. I think it was McGinnis but I cannot be sure. It was when he
(the principal) left that Drucker took over. So in Drucker's case, he
is the longest tenured "clarinet player" and not necessarily the longest
tenured "principal clarinet player."
