Sneezy Clarinet Competition

I would like to congratulate the winners of the Sneezy Clarinet Competition,
David Gonzales, Sung Sim Choi and An Beazar. Their dedication to the
clarinet has brought them these awards on this occasion. They are no doubt
well deserved. Be pleased it has worked for you, I`m sure it will also in
the future.

If I may, I would also like to thank no less, the other contestants who on
this occasion did not get chosen. I know, from speaking to one of them quite
regularly, how hard you all have worked. I know that several attempts have
been made to record and re-record the music, all at your own expense.
Without you there would have been no competition. I`m sure your turn will
come in the fullness of time.

I would like to thank Mark for asking me if he could use some of my music.
It has been both humbling and exciting. I have won one or two composition
awards in my time, but this occasion, when my own music has been used, says
to me just a bit more than collecting 1st prize. Thank you Mark.

Best Wishes to all,

Tony Wakefield
