I am very excited to announce International Clarinet & Saxophone Connection
2002 (formerly International Clarinet Connection), which will take place
June 16-23, 2002 at New England Conservatory of Music in Boston.

After two tremendously successful sold-out festivals, we are very happy to
add saxophone into the mix of our event. ICSC 2002 features FACULTY members

with special guest artists violinist Ilya Kaler, flutist Mimi Stillman and
others. Also, the Diabelli String Quartet and pianists Amy Chen, Julie
Gosswiller, Shizue Sano and Suzan Shin will be in residence for the entire
festival.

Spend an intense week of music making and clarinet and saxophone study with
some of the most famous soloists and orchestral players in the world.
There is no other festival like this one! Private lessons, 54
masterclasses, 8 concerts and equipment exhibits all take place at New
England Conservatory, located on Boston's renowned "Avenue of the Arts"
just one block from Symphony Hall. All faculty concerts are presented in
Jordan Hall, the National Historic Landmark with unsurpassed acoustics.
Dormitory housing is available nearby. (Tuition does not include housing.)

There are three tuition levels: Full ($900), Partial ($600) and Auditor
($400). Partial students do not receive private lessons. Auditors do not
receive private lessons nor do they play in masterclasses, but they can
observe everything. Limited scholarship aid is available.
