I recall working with Holsinger this past April. It was without question
one of the best musical experiences of my High School career. A very
close tie with being underthe direction of Anthony Meillo for the MENC
Eastern Division Honors band and my experience with the Sound of America.
As to the bananas. Muscle action works through an exchange of
potassium and sodium ions between the cells. Somehow sodium slows down
the process but potassium helps expediate it. The high potassium content
of the bananas may help muscle response overall, not just with the lips.
